The real question here is whether you are going to work on the design of these apps to share with others. If so, then you should be using the same version of Access that the other users use. But if this is a 3rd party app, then they are probably distributing it as an accde so you can't get into the design anyway.

But then it installs 64bit only without asking my for a choice as it is so wonderful smart and detects my win10 64bit system. I want the licensed full ACCESS on the same PC as the software runs to open the encrypted databases and edit it for troubleshooting on my development system.
